This year too, with Christmas in the offing, Cruciani C is renewing its support for charity projects promoted AIL, the Italian Association against Leukaemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma, whose main objectives include improving quality of life for patients and their families. Launched in 2012, this successful partnership between AIL and the renowned fashion maison has so far raised 1,200,000 euros, funds that were immediately turned into assistance provided by AIL’s 81 provincial units to patients all over Italy and innovative therapies designed to improve quality of life for haematological patients. It has also enabled AIL to finance major research projects and patient assistance programmes and at the same time acquire new donors. This year Cruciani C and AIL decided to channel the proceeds from sales of the Stars bracelet to the “long-term clinical monitoring study” co-ordinated by Gruppo Italiano Malattie Ematologiche dell’Adulto (GIMEMA – Italian Adult Haematological Diseases Group) that designed a long-term clinical monitoring project the results of which will go towards offering patients prompter medical treatment in cases of need, improving quality of life and optimizing use of healthcare resources. In support of this initiative Cruciani C has created a new “Stars” bracelet. It’s a fashion accessory in macramé lace with four Christmas Stars, the emblem of AIL’s awareness and fund raising campaigns since the very outset. The bracelet comes in black, navy blue, silver, Ferrari red and with dazzling lurex inserts. For the upcoming festivities, thanks to collaboration with the well known Umbrian fashion house, donors will have the chance to support AIL not only by buying Christmas Stars on the streets over the four days of the campaign (from 8 to 11 December this year) but also by buying the Cruciani C Stars bracelet, which will be selling for €10, from the end of November to mid January in Cruciani C stores, at the maison’s e-shop ( and AIL’s e-commerce site (
